The new Museum of Dante, exactly near Dante’s Tomb, will be inaugurated on Sunday, May 16 with a new contemporary exhibition, which uses modern and technological languages to show the importance of the Divine Comedy and Dante’s legacy to the city of Ravenna.
The Museum of Dante is located in the “Silence Zone” which, thanks to the its recent restoration works, has become the main place of the celebrations for the 700th anniversary of Dante’s death.
The Museum of Dante will be opened all day from 10 am to 5.30 pm. Reservation is required.
Opening hours: from the 1st of April to the 31st of October Tuesday – Sunday and bank holiday (closed on Monday and the 25th of December) from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm – from the 1st of November to the 31st of March Tuesday – Sunday and bank holiday (closed on Monday) from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm (1st of January from 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm)
